FATEEMA & IBRAHIM

Love

OUR STORY

where it all began

It all started with a swipe. Fateema and Ibrahim matched on a dating app, and just two days later, they met — because apparently, neither of them likes to waste time. From that moment on, they spent more and more time together every week, fueled by laughter, good food, and the occasional debate about whose turn it was to pick the movie.

Both expats in Dubai— they navigated life far from home, learning each other’s worlds along the way. Six months in, Ibrahim flew to Cape Town to meet Fateema’s family, proving that love is worth a little extra mileage. At the one-year mark, they moved in together, because why not test their teamwork on assembling IKEA furniture and sharing a fridge?

Four years later, their journey has been filled with family holidays, couple’s adventures, disagreements, and more than a few “Have you taken the trash out yet“ moments — and they’re still standing together, stronger and sillier than ever.

Now, they’re ready for the biggest adventure yet: a lifetime together. And yes… there will be cake.

“Marriage: when dating goes pro.”
